SHA-256 + PBKDF2 password hashing with 100,000 iterations and a unique 32-byte salt per user. Industry standard.
Session tokens hashed with SHA-256 before storage. Plaintext tokens never touch the database.
AES-256-GCM encryption for all PII — phone, SSN, sensitive documents — with unique IV per operation.
Immutable audit log. Every security event recorded permanently. Triggers block all UPDATE and DELETE operations.
Row-level security (PostgreSQL RLS). Users can only access their own data, enforced at the database level.
