This policy describes the information OppZen collects, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and the choices and rights you have.

01Information we collect
- Account data: your email and authentication details.
- Profile & career data: resumes, skills, work history, education, certifications, goals, and documents you add to your Career Vault.
- Usage data: how you interact with the product, used to improve features and reliability.
- Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we store subscription status and invoice references, not full card numbers.
02Why we use your data
- To provide the core product — storing, organizing, and analyzing your career assets.
- To power AI features such as match scoring, resume analysis, and recommendations.
- To secure your account, prevent abuse, and maintain access audit logs.
- To communicate important service and account updates.
03How we share data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the subprocessors required to run the service — for example, our cloud/database provider, authentication provider, payment processor, and AI provider — each bound by contractual data-protection obligations.
04Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and cascade-delete your career records, subject to limited legal or security retention (for example, certain audit and billing records).
05Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can export or delete your data directly from your account, or contact us for assistance.
06Security
We protect your data with encryption at rest, TLS in transit, isolated PII storage, per-user row-level security, and access auditing. See the Encryption Details page for specifics.
07Children's privacy
OppZen is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
